Digital and innovation intern

Greenhouse is looking for an ambitious, curious and technically capable intern. We need someone hungry for hands-on experience and passionate about augmenting the future of communications and marketing operations through workflow automations, agentic AI, and other cutting-edge solutions.

You will play a hands-on role in designing, building and deploying automated workflows that leverage custom GPTs and AI-powered agents. Your primary mission will be to integrate these intelligent systems with our leading analytics, intelligence and paid media platforms such as SEMRush, GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Adobe Analytics, Pulsar, Meltwater, and Signal AI.

We’re looking for someone with a strong appetite for learning and a deep technical curiosity to understand how systems connect. You’ll need to think critically about the opportunities and risks of deploying AI and have a knack for finding the simplest path to a powerful outcome.

The Impact Lab is Greenhouse’s internal innovation unit – a small team of researchers, analysts, and performance specialists who turn ideas into outcomes. We accelerate campaign delivery through audience intelligence, real-time performance analysis and digital tools that drive actual behaviour change. You’ll be enhancing our existing capabilities with AI, not building from scratch.

Working within The Impact Lab team at Greenhouse, you will embody our values, ensuring you behave and communicate in a way that is Inclusive, Motivated, Passionate, Authentic, Collaborative and Tenacious.

The role and opportunity

As a Greenhouse intern you will work across multiple projects and provide support to our teams. You will have the opportunity to develop your tech and AI skills, developing an understanding of the communications landscape and how we use technology to reach target audiences and deliver real-world outcomes.

Skills and experience

  • Applied AI knowledge: Familiarity or interest in agentic AI platforms (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI) with particular interest in marketing automation and campaign optimisation applications. Experience with the OpenAI API (or similar) for tasks like classification, data extraction, and content generation. A conceptual understanding of agentic patterns like RAG or function calling is a major advantage.
  • Insight and outcome focus: You understand that the goal of automation is to deliver value. You have a knack for translating the data and outputs from your workflows into clear, actionable insights for our campaign and media teams.
  • Marketing tech exposure: You’ve previously worked with or are particularly curious about any of our key platforms like GA4, SEMRush, Google/Meta Ads, or social listening tools.
