And the winner is… Greenhouse! Small PR Consultancy of the Year
Greenhouse
Last night Greenhouse was crowned Small PR Consultancy of the Year at the PRCA DARE awards.
We also picked up awards for our work with the Nature Friendly Farming Network and the launch of Triodos Bank’s personal current account.
To top it off, our very own Jenny Briggs was named Rising Star of the Year.
Anna Guyer, founder of Greenhouse, said: “The Greenhouse team is completely committed to our mission to create positive and social environmental change – so to be recognised by the industry’s leading trade association is incredibly rewarding.
“We invest a tremendous amount of effort and energy into every single campaign we deliver, and we feel very privileged to work with pioneers such as Triodos Bank and the Nature Friendly Farming Network, who are accelerating the transition to a low carbon economy.
“Our ambition is to grow to a turnover of £3 million and 30 staff based across Bristol and London, working with the UK’s leading brands pioneering sustainability solutions so that we can help to scale impact and accelerate change.”
Corporate Affairs
Greenhouse was commissioned to launch Triodos Bank’s new current account in April 2017 – the most sustainable personal current account ever brought to the UK market.
In a crowded media landscape dominated by deals and best buys, our challenge was to amplify a pioneer bank brand and raise awareness of this new opportunity to align your everyday banking with your values.
We rose to the challenge, securing 70 pieces of coverage with an estimated 350 million views. Within a week of the launch, 6,500 people had registered for a current account, and that pipeline has continued to grow ever since.
Low Budget Campaign
Brexit provides a once-in-a-generation opportunity to influence the future of British farming.
Across the UK, there are already thousands of farmers operating sustainably. The Nature Friendly Farming Network (NFFN) unites these farmers and gives them a powerful voice on the future of farming – calling for policy change to reward farmers who manage their land for the benefit of people and nature.
Greenhouse devised a high-profile launch at the Oxford Real Farming Conference to amplify the reach of NFFN. We generated 480 broadcast, print and online features, with a total reach of over 20 million, and increased NFFN’s farmer community on social media by over 500%.
Rising Star of the Year
Described as the ‘Mary Poppins of PR’ by Telegraph journalist, Hattie Garlick, Jenny embodies the Greenhouse mission and works tirelessly to secure exceptional results for her clients, which include Organix, Sustainable Soils Alliance, Cafédirect and Natracare.
Jenny puts her communications skills to good use outside work too, and single-handedly set up the Bristol branch of the global Soup movement, raising funds for community development projects across the city.
Anna says: “Jenny is full of energy, passion and warmth. She has inspired us with the work she does at Bristol Soup, she is a joy to work with at Greenhouse, and she seems to make friends and bring in new people wanting to work with us wherever she goes. She is a great communicator, funny, charming, direct. And she always delivers.”
DARE to be different
We dare to be different – and it works. Purpose can come before profit. And PR can be a force for good. Whether it’s shifting pension funds away from fossil fuels, shining a light on toxic practices in the fast fashion supply chain or pioneering a low carbon smart grid, Greenhouse delivers campaigns that create tangible impact in the sectors most in need of transformation.
