New Business and Marketing Manager
The New Business & Marketing Manager is a new position and will be a pivotal role at Greenhouse – responsible for driving growth, strengthening our brand, and amplifying our impact. You will:
- Shape and execute our new business strategy.
- Build and nurture relationships across the climate and purpose-led ecosystem.
- Lead integrated marketing that showcases our work, people, and impact.
- Strengthen Greenhouse visibility, profile, and pipeline of mission-aligned clients.

Key responsibilities
New business
Working closely with the Founder, CEO and Leadership Team, you will drive growth and build a strong pipeline of mission-aligned opportunities.
Outreach and pipeline development
- Develop and maintain a targeted list of prospective clients.
- Lead outreach efforts – email, calls, networking, events – to create warm openings.
- Track, monitor, and report on leads, enquiries, and acquisition funnel.
- Ensure HubSpot is effectively used and up to date.
Relationship building
- Build and maintain relationships across our extensive global green network.
- Identify and cultivate new contacts, collaborators, and influencers.
- Support the Founder, CEO and senior team with introductions and follow up.
Partnership development
- Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with mission-led organisations – B Corp movement, Creatives for Climate, etc.
- Explore co-creation opportunities (campaigns, research, events, thought leadership).
Events and representation
- Attend conferences, roundtables, and sector events representing Greenhouse.
- Act as a confident ambassador for our mission, work, and values.
- Identify speaking opportunities for senior leadership and the wider team.
Marketing
Lead the development of a dynamic, integrated marketing programme that amplifies our story and showcases our impact.
Marketing and brand building
- Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with mission-led organisations – B Corp movement, Creatives for Climate, etc.
- Explore co-creation opportunities (campaigns, research, events, thought leadership).
Marketing strategy and campaigns
- Develop an annual marketing strategy and campaign calendar.
- Identify storytelling themes that highlight Greenhouse’s impact and expertise.
Owned Events and Thought Leadership
- Create and deliver Greenhouse-owned events (webinars, roundtables, reports).
- Identify and develop speaking opportunities for leadership and specialists.
- Build content partnerships with media, NGOs, and sector platforms.
Case Studies and Impact Storytelling
- Develop and maintain a rich library of case studies and impact stories.
- Work with client leads to ensure consistent updates and high-quality narratives.
Social media
- Lead our digital presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels.
- Write blogs, articles, short-form content, to showcase work, insights, and team.
- Run our social channels with support from the internal team, ensuring regular, high-quality output.
- Champion our impact, achievements, campaigns, and culture through compelling storytelling.Work with client leads to ensure consistent updates and high-quality narratives.
Brand identity and website
- Project manage evolution of our brand identity, assets, and design guidelines.
- Manage the development of a new website – ensuring it reflects who we are, what we do and our global impact.
- Support with copywriting, SEO-aligned articles and content updates.
- Develop and maintain a rich library of case studies and impact stories.
- Work with client leads to ensure consistent updates and high-quality narratives.
Systems, processes and budget management
- Improve systems to streamline new business and marketing workflows.
- Own/manage HubSpot, ensure accurate data capture and usage across the team.
- Work with Finance and CEO to manage the marketing and new business budget.
- Ensure reporting processes are clear, consistent, and insight-driven.
- Implement best practice tools to track leads, conversion, performance, impact.Develop and maintain a rich library of case studies and impact stories.
- Work with client leads to ensure consistent updates and high-quality narratives.
Person specification
Essential skills and experience
- Experience in new business, marketing, partnerships, or growth roles – ideally in communications, sustainability, or purpose-driven organisations.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy, digital channels, and brand building.
- A natural relationship-builder – confident, warm, and credible.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong storytelling skills.
- Experience managing pipelines, tracking leads, and using CRM tools.
- Ability to plan, execute, and measure integrated marketing campaigns.
- Confidence to represent us publicly (events, networking, industry forums).
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
- Passionate about climate solutions, sustainability, and social impact.

Salary and benefits
- £40,000 – £55,000 per annum dependant on location and experience.
- Flexible working: core hours 10am-4pm with 2-3 days per week expected in the office.
- Early finish Fridays (finish at 3pm every Friday).
- 25 days holiday (plus your birthday and office closure between Christmas and New Year).

Our location
We are based in London and Bristol with flexibility over where this role will be based. We operate a flexible hybrid-working approach, but you will be expected to spend an average of 2-3 days a week in the office.
